A Prayer for the Woman Who’s Been Told She’s Too Much

Father God, our Father who hears and loves us. I pray for the woman today who has been told all her life that she is too much. I pray that You speak to her heart as you did for me and let her know that SHE IS NOT TOO MUCH FOR YOU! 

You created her muchness to be used to glorify You! Maybe they say her body is too big--show her how to use her body to glorify you. Maybe that is hugs for babies or showing up for those who feel less than, whatever it is You have for her, let her see it clearly. 

Maybe they say her voice is too loud--may it be used to proclaim Your glory and love!

Let her stand boldly before You and anyone else so that she can love You in fullness! 

I pray this prayer that Paul prayed for the Ephesians:

"For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." (Ephesians 3: 14-2)
